Dinluke Anastasia au. (It came to me in a dream)

Luke and Leia are the twin prince and princess of the kingdom of Naboo. Their mother, Padmé, is the queen and their father, Anakin, is her consort. Obiwan is their righthand man/advisor and uncle/godfather to the twins, his husband, Cody, is the head of the guards. Din works in the palace as a busboy or whatever.

Palpatine is Rasputin. He was banished on accounts of treason after he tried to manipulate Anakin into killing his then pregnant wife and pinning the blame on Obiwan and Cody so he could take over and appoint Palpatine as his new advisor. Ultimately giving Palpatine all the power and making Anakin his puppet. I don't know who the little bat/sidekick would be. Maybe Maul...

Anyway, on the Night of the twins' 8th birthday a huge party is thrown and people from all over come to celebrate their beloved rulers. Palpatine sneaks in and it goes down pretty much the same way as in the movie. He busts in makes some little speech sets loose his little ghosty things and choas breaks out. I'm not sure whether I would have Anakin and Padmé killed off, or keep them alive. I know for sure that I want Obiwan, Luke, Leia, and Cody to live.

Maybe Obiwan and Cody get separated and both think the other is dead. Hmmmm.

Anyway, back to the plot!

Obiwan rushes off with Luke and Leia to try and get them to safety because either droids (they would just be enemy soldiers in this) or clones (probably droids, unless I want to make some big scandal involving the clones betraying them) are swarming in trying to get to the twins.

Like in the movie with Dimitri, Din is there when some palace staff sneak the twins and Obi through a secret pass. Right as they're going through Luke realizes that he left behind his something, either his lightsaber or his little toy plane that Obi got him.

Mmmm.

Lightsaber. He runs back in to grab his lightsaber, but only manages to grab the kyber crystal.

Okay hold up. I have to go watch Anastasia again because I forgot how the rest of this scene goes

I may have...mentioned a fankid a little while back (ｕ_ｕ*) here's the little squirt themselves, our very own Newt Utonium! The name is short for Newton, as in Isaac, who is often considered the grandfather of science (the professor's idea ofc) but they prefer to go by just Newt!

Just like their mother they came from an egg, which Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup were very excited and curious about! Especially since they were born 5 years old and at the same time, they were looking forward to interacting with a new sibling. And a baby at that! They spent a lot of time with the egg fawning over it, discussing what gender they hoped it would be and what they'd be like once hatched!

And ofc Utonium is just as wonderful a father with Newt as he was when the girls came into his life! 💖💖💖

natsuo todoroki being who he is and seemingly being the least tragic todoroki makes me so. urgh. you are the middle child least affected by everything going on around you but you grow up looking the most out of your siblings like your father, you watch your sister being forced into an adults role when she shouldn't have to and your little brother trapped away being hurt in a way you recognise from your dead one. you pushed your brother away once because you were tired when he needed support and now he's dead and you can't help but feel like it's your fault despite everything, and because of that you can't understand why your siblings want to forgive! you don't have the same connection to endeavor that they do. you were born when the problems became worse and have never seen him as anything but bad, have never been his focus and only witnessed his anger and neglect all your life, watched him push your brother to a demise that made you go into a degree just to prevent situations like this again, a degree you dreaded taking because it meant your sister would be forced to live with him on her own. you never will forgive him, not like you think they can

I can imagine Bubble working for Pomni and helping the others hunt down Caine. Such as giving away his location to other enemies, scaring him when he is hiding, throwing things at him or in his path when something is chasing him, making noise and throwing things to attract enemies towards him or stealing items from his inventory and hiding them and I think she would disturb him a lot during Pomni's games of hide and seek. I also think she would bring him food and eat it in front of him to tease him. Same with water bottles, take one and dump all the water in front of him with a sinister smile (If food and water bars are anything here) or if she's feeling kind put it in hard to reach places or near enemies.

Or we could also have a nicer Bubble, which I think is difficult but-

If Bubble is nice I can imagine her bringing him some items but placing them in high places for some challenge and giving him tips where important things or other enemies might be. I can also see her bringing him bottles of water and food. Or when he's stuck somewhere or at an enemy and can't get out of there, I can see her giving some tips on the 'game over' screen (If it exists.)

Yeah.. I mean yeah you right at some ways, but.. wow you- you wild

sayaka maizono and selfishness

in an attempt to compensate for the overall hate sayaka got as a character i feel like a lot of people try to sympathize with her morally as a person by insisting she was fully, 100% altruistic in her motivations, that she ONLY cared about saving her bandmates. while she does genuinely love and consider them family i believe its a lot more fascinating to take into account the ways in which the idol industry hollow out sayaka, and how her initial dream (spreading love and hope to lonely people the same way the idols on TV saved her as a child) becomes twisted and forgotten in what she has to sacrifice for it, her wellbeing, authenticity, all for the sake of the image she has to put on to survive in such a competitive dehumanizing industry.....

all her sense of purpose and identity depends on her ult idol title, to the point where she considers murder and follows through with her plan. at some level of consciousness sayaka believes the ends justify the means, there is a fair degree of selfishness in her because she's nothing outside the success of her career. and then there's sayaka's hopeful, last act of true kindness (11037)

this is crucial to what ch1 means as the base of danganronpa, the deceit, first impressions, the way ultimate titles define them in such a world, its themes of fame, idolatry, talent & hard work... it sets the tone for all that comes next.

Donald Duck is a selkie. One of Scrooge's ancestors was a selkie and the gene has just been recessive for centuries until Donald's bad luck struck and it just so happened to wake up in him. No one knew growing up except his parents and they took his coat away when he was like five or six because they were scared of losing him to the ocean. That's the reason his voice sounds the way it does.

They never told anyone, including Donald. I imagine that after they died and the twins moved in with Scrooge that it just got shoved in a box and stashed somewhere in the attic or something. Point is, no one knows that Donald is a selkie. All they know is that he's a bit of a weird kid who just so happens to stare at the ocean just a little too intently when he sees it (Scrooge just thinks its wanderlust, Della just thinks he's a weirdo).

It surprisingly wasn't that bad in the navy. It was almost like the closer he got to the water the more at home he felt which is why he got a houseboat to raise the boys on.

Anyways, life goes on pretty normally (and I'm gonna place this in like about halfway through season three) until on one adventure that Donald happened to come on, they encounter a whole group of selkies. Nothing bad happens, but they all kinda keep giving each other looks and staring really pointedly at Donald which he thinks is weird but might just be because of his voice.

He also notices that he feels this ache in his chest when he gets too close to them, like the ache he gets when he looks out at the ocean. Eventually a conversation gets started between him and the group and the selkies are dropping all these hints about being one of them that are just fucking jumping over Donald's head until one of them gets tired and just straight up asks him if he ever aches for the ocean.

He's a little caught off guard at first but begins to open up about how sometimes he feels like the waves are trying to pull him closer and about the ache he gets. At this point the selkies kind of raise their eyebrows at each other as they all collectively realize that this random ass dude with a whole family of non selkie ducks is one of them.

They then try to shift the topic over to his coat to try and find out how much the guy knows and if he's gonna be alright. So out comes the question, "Do you have a favorite coat?" Donald blinks in surprise. It was kind of a random question. He looked between the three people seated across from him and noticed not for the first time that they all had on beautiful white fur coats.

He was suddenly reminded of his childhood and absently started recounting his memory, "I remember having a coat when I was really little that I absolutely loved. It really was the best thing. It was so white it almost looked blue and it was the softest thing I've ever touched. And sometimes-" (here he leaned in like he was whispering a fatal secret) "when I would sit and wear it I could swear that I could hear the ocean waves crashing into shore,"

Well any doubt the selkies may have had before before was completely gone now. They start hatching a scheme to get him to stay with them (pure intentions, but poorly executed) and end up kind of kidnapping him. This leads to the McDuck and co going on an adventure to get him back where they possibly discover his true nature.

Maybe due to both being around others of his kind and the ocean in a sacred selkie place Donald starts to get ill without his coat so then everyone else is freaking out trying to find it.

Anywho, there's that I guess. Enjoy :)

Usaually I don't bother, but I'm writing to you because i have looked up to you for a long time. I don't need you to respond, maybe even prefer if you won't, but your last post was a big blow for me.

I'm an israeli.

I was born here. My mother was born here. Her grandmother was born here. My grand grandmother fled here after the holocaust.

And you knkw what? You don't have to agree with the israel goverment, i mean if you'd look it up you'll see that almost no one here supports our current goverment. I wish i could sit with you and talk about the conflict and explain that it's nit really black and white as tumblr would like to believe, but i don't think that's a possibility.

But writing that we are "white settlers" is just... god. It's a lie. Not even just antisemtic lie, becuase 20% of israeli citizens are actually arabs (both muslims and christians). most of jewish populations are not even "ashkenazi" jews.

The interent currently is not a very reliable source of history (like, i've seen people claim we should call tel aviv "ahuzat bait" since it is its arab name. It's not. It's in hebrew, and the name of the first street if tel aviv when it was legally bought)

And if you ask why not let all the middle east countries participate in the eurivision - actually they let them. They just decided the quit when israel joined.

Again, I'm writing becuase I'm hurt. You can dissmiss it if you want, but i wish you wouldnt. Again, you dont need to post it or respond, i just wish you will think twice about what you hear or learn about a war the happens to other people, and doesnt affect you at all (some of us - on both sides - are actually afraid of dying).

oh bless you anon - i hope you're okay with me posting this, because i wouldn't be able to respond otherwise. i admit entirely i was being reductive - i haven't spoken a lot about this issue here because i'm afraid of letting emotion get the better of me, when i know how morally complex this issue is. i was being reductive - and i absolutely know there are a lot of israeli-born jewish people who are native to the land. and i know there are a lot of jewish people in israel who are against the occupation. and i know there is a huge population of israeli citizens who are against their government because the government is lying to their citizens just as much as they're lying to world.

but there is an image that the leading powers in israel want to paint to the world - the one they show in eurovision and any media presence (which they pour ungodly amounts of money into) - and it's of a very western, palatably white israel. i really would like you to know that when i refer to "israel" i refer only to the ruling powers that govern it - not the citizens that live there.

israel doesn't want you to see iraeli-born jews who are critical of their government and actually have been living peacefully alongside the muslim and christian population of the land for hundreds of years before the occupation. israel doesn't want to showcase that narrative, because that would show that actually the nation could've been peaceful and have equality for all it's people the whole time (because they've been doing it for HUNDREDS of years prior) and there was no reason to expel palestinians from their homes.

in eurovision, wants to show that israel has established this land and made it pristine and beautiful and countries should invest in this cosmopolitan utopia and new western culture that is so divorced from it's native people and it's history. palatable. marketable. clean. no war crimes here.

there's an unfortunate power imbalance in the world - and that's that some nations have the money and the power to curate and maintain a spotless public image - and other nations can't afford to keep the lights on in their hospitals.

i really love and appreciate you for coming into my inbox, anon. i think it's really brave and i really appreciate your voice and appreciate people like you. i know israel is a terrifying place to be right now - particularly for people who are critical of the government, you're under threat from both sides - you're distrusting of your own military, and there's the very real threat of hammas too. and i'm so, so sorry you're in that place and in that situation. and as someone who's born there, and your family being there for generations, the question of escape isn't as simple as settlers who can come and go freely. but i really, really hope you're safe and can stay safe. i'm so sorry your family went through all that you did, and that your family escaped one horror for another. this isn't the kind of world you should live in - and i'm praying that positive change will hold the israeli government accountable, and force them to prioritise their people.

not their "image", not how much power and money and land they hold. people. people - both israeli and palestinian, deserve to feel safe and heard and have a government that will protect them. it's the duty any power in the world should have to their people. and i feel like - if we deprive israel of their magical power to appear good and pristine and progressive palatable and clean of all blood in the eyes of the media - if we rob it of that, then they'll be forced to address these real problems within their government. they'll be forced to make amends. forced to apologise, and gain the world's favour again through real positive change.
